Moscow investigators opened a criminal case after an explosion in a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in northern Moscow. The owner of the vehicle was reportedly injured.

TASS, citing sources in the operational services, writes that the owner of the car in which the explosion occurred on Korovinskoye Highway in Moscow is a former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine
According to the agency’s interlocutor, the explosion occurred when the man started the car.
Investigators and criminologists of the Moscow Investigative Committee, together with the operational services, are inspecting the scene of the incident; a number of examinations will be scheduled in the near future.

- Vasily Prozorov was dismissed from the ranks of the SBU in 2018 due to service inconsistency.
- In 2019, on the birthday of the SBU – March 25 – a press conference was held in Russia for Prozorov, who was called a defector from the Security Service of Ukraine.
- Prozorov stated that he worked in the SBU from 1999 to 2018, and since 2014 he was registered in the central apparatus, the ATO headquarters. “Since April 2014, I voluntarily, for ideological reasons, contributed to the Russian Federation in obtaining information,” he said then.
- The ex-SBU employee also spoke a number of messages, in particular about the alleged involvement of the Ukrainian side in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass, the “secret prisons of the SBU” and the involvement of the Ukrainian special services in the murder of the leaders of the illegal armed groups “L/DPR”.
