The candidates for municipal councilors of the GERB party in our city were officially presented in the National Committee. They were supported by the candidate for mayor for a new term Dimitar Nikolov, as well as by the people’s representatives Lyuben Dilov, Andrey Runchev and Galya Zhelyazkova.
Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, who was the chairman of the Municipal Council – Burgas for the last 4 years, shared that it is an honor and a privilege for her to once again be the leader of the list for municipal councilors of PP GERB. She explained that the past mandate in the local parliament has shown that GERB can work unitedly and the results of their activity are visible to everyone.
„We implemented the management program of our mayor Mr. Dimitar Nikolov, we even upgraded it with interesting projects. We enter the election campaign with faith, but also with responsibility, because what we have achieved must be built upon. Burgazlii’s demands on us are becoming more and more, and rightly so. We can work, we can be responsible and we will. I assure you that in the next 4 years, the Municipal Council will be a tribune not only for free speech, but also for political tolerance. It will be a tribune where the best decisions will be made. We will seek unification for the most important projects“, she also said.
One of the new faces in the list, but well known among Burgasians, is Adv. Mihail Hadjiyanev, He shared that he is proud to be part of this GERB team and made a promise:
„I will put all my knowledge and skills, all my energy and passion, to succeed in our endeavor. With all my heart, with my experience and my mind, I feel and know that the best owner of Burgas in the next 4 years is Mr. Dimitar Nikolov. I believe that this GERB team is the best and will lead our city through all the trials and make it number 1 in the country.”
Another lawyer, lawyer Iva Baev, who was also the chairman of the Legal Committee in the local parliament, also expressed confidence in winning the elections.
„This GERB team is very strong. It has representatives of GERB, SDS, Gerg’ovden, active citizens of Burgas. This is a team that knows what to do for our city. This train, called Burgas, is becoming faster, more powerful and more attractive. This is because for years this train has been driven by a skilled driver – Mr. Dimitar Nikolov. We will stand behind him for the next 4 years. Our group in the Municipal Council will give the guidelines for the prosperity of our city, but will also be corrective if there are deviations in the wrong direction. Our vote is a vote for Burgas“, he said.
