Only five names were “closed” for respective regions, at the meeting of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA.
This is Yiannis Stefos in Epirus, Theodoros Galiatsatos for the Region of the Ionian Islands, Spyros Danellis for the Region of Crete, Georgia Zebiliadou for the Region of Western Macedonia, and Apostolos Gletsos for the Region of Central Greece.
As we wrote a long time ago, SYRIZA is reportedly sending Yannis Stefos to Epirus as a candidate for Regional Governor, who was elected in the first elections as a SYRIZA deputy in Ioannina, but not in the second.
The names of Triantafyllos Albanis and Marios Katsis had also been put on the table, but they refused.
