The aim of the campaign is to make happy those who are not able to give and celebrate their happiness due to different life situations, says the association.
Financial donations can be made through the association’s website, and items and gifts can be sent to the association by courier or parcel.
Shipments can also be delivered to the association’s offices in Bauska, Kalna street 8/1.
At the same time, to deliver larger gifts, companies or institutions can ask the association to come and receive the shipment at their premises.
The contents of the shipments can vary, but the association says sweets, toys, board games and books are the most common requests. Gifts such as scooters, bicycles or tickets to events were also requested.
Please describe the gender and age of the addressee to the loads, because the association has often encountered cases where the content of the load does not correspond to the children’s audience.
The association collaborates with social services, as well as several orphanages and SOS villages, to strictly assess the needs and send the prepared packages to the most needy children and young people on.
Donations can be sent until December 18.
The association “Time for Youth” was founded in 2019.
