Black Ops Cold War, the latest addition to the long line of Call of Duty titles, will be released in more than a month, but traditionally fans can expect a multiplayer beta first. Previously, fans could already get a taste of the game during the alpha, but according to the developer, the beta will take a serious step on top of that.
Tony Flame, designer by Treyarch, recently shared the tweet below. He mentions that in the short time between the alpha and the beta a lot will have changed and improved. He has faith in the team behind the game and praises their ability to make many improvements in a short amount of time.
The Black Ops Cold War Beta is quite an upgrade over the Alpha. I don’t think anyone quite realizes what this team can do in a short amount of time. From new features to the core feel, nearly everything has taken leaps forward.
My favorite part tho: the new lobby music kicks it

What those changes will be like, we can discover on the PS4 from October 8. Then the beta goes live for those who have placed a pre-order. The open beta on PS4 will start later, more precisely or October 12. The beta fun is over on October 19th. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War itself comes out on November 13.
