The calendar of indoor athletics meetings 2023

For the 2023 winter season, the French Athletics Federation is coordinating an intense, exciting and thrilling calendar of 14 Indoor Meetings of the “Crédit Mutuel Athlé Tour”. The best French athletes will all meet in Clermont-Ferrand for the French Elite Indoor Championships, on February 18 and 19. Get out your new diaries, you’ll have something to write about!

You’ve been waiting impatiently for it, here it is: the 2023 indoor athletics calendar. This winter, France’s seven elite meetings are all integrated into the programme Around the world indoors, a first. The opening of the season will take place onIV Saturday 28 January with Nantes et Lyon. Great mass of combined indoor events, the X-Athletics Meeting returns for a sixth edition at the Jean-Pellez d’ stadiumAubière 28 and 29 January. Lthe tricolor athletes will stop at Miramas (February 3), Val de Reuil (February 4), Mondeville (February 9) et Metz (February 11th). The kick-off of the Meeting Nationaux season will be given on Saturday 28 January at Vittel it’s at Hirson. Then the meeting of the jumps will follow (length, height, triple jump) a Amiens February 4th. Composed of four stages, the Perche Elite Tour will stop at Bordeaux (Starperche, January 14), Roubaix (Perche en Or, January 28), Clermont-Ferrand (All Star Perche, 25 and 26 February) e Rouen (March 11th). Outside the Circuit, we can mention the Meeting des Volcans on Saturday 7 January at h Aubière.

The best of athletics at the Accor Arena and the Liévin

An athletic appointment always awaited, the Meeting of Paris indoors returns on Saturday 11 February at the Accor Arena. Seven scheduled events: the men’s and women’s 60m and 60m hurdles, the men’s and women’s triple jump and the women’s pole vault. For the moment we do not yet know all the names of the athletes who will participate in this 2023 edition. The Stade Couvert Arena will host the Meeting of Lievinranked “gold” on the prestigious World Athletics Indoor Tour. The Aliens Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500m) and Armand Duplantis (perch) have already marked this date in their new diary. The French Elite Championships will take place at Clermont-Ferrand (February 18 and 19) in a refurbished Pellez Stadium in its new purple and green colors. As for the other Winter National Gatherings, the Skirmishers and Race Walkers as well as the Aspirants and the National Athletes will respectively go to Val de Reuil it’s at Miramas the weekend of 11 and 12 February, while the best cadets and juniors will travel Lyon (February 25 and 26). The main international competition of the winter, the European Indoor Championships will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from 2 to 5 March.
