The government has adopted a decision appointing new regional governors of Gabrovo, Lovech, Montana, Pernik, Silistra, Stara Zagora, Shumen and Yambol. The same decision dismisses the previous positions.
Ralitsa Manolova has been appointed regional governor of Gabrovo district. She has a master’s degree in International Economic Relations, with many years of experience in the Regional Administration – Gabrovo, as well as in the private sector.
Viktor Stoychev has been appointed regional governor of Lovech. He is an economist with many years of experience in the territorial directorates of the National Revenue Agency – Veliko Tarnovo and Lovech.
Vanina Vecina has been appointed Governor of Montana. She is a surveying engineer and holds a master’s degree in European Public Administration, with many years of experience as an independent appraiser and construction consultant.
Kiril Stoev has been appointed regional governor of Pernik district. He has a master’s degree in European integration and experience in the private sector.
Katya Krasteva has been appointed Governor of Silistra. She graduated in “Primary School Pedagogy”, with experience in school education, since 2019 is Deputy Mayor – Tsenovich.
The government appointed Nasko Vassilev as regional governor of Stara Zagora. He has a master’s degree in veterinary medicine. He holds an educational and scientific degree of Doctor and is a professor at the Thracian University – Stara Zagora, where he held the managerial positions of Vice-Dean and Vice-Rector.
Vladimir Yolov has been appointed regional governor of Shumen district. He has a master’s degree in financial management and a doctorate in international economic relations with many years of experience in the private sector.
Vasil Alexandrov has been appointed regional governor of Yambol district. He has a master’s degree in International Economic Relations and Finance, with many years of experience as a credit inspector in a bank. Since 2020 he has been working in the municipality of Yambol, and since 2021 he has been the deputy mayor of the municipality.
The government decision was taken in absentia.
