The Busch brothers on top at Road America

The only NASCAR Cup Series practice session on the Road America track saw the Busch brothers set the two fastest times.

On the road layout of Road America in Wisconsin, it was the Busch brothers who achieved the two best times of the single practice session. Kurt Busch sets the benchmark time in 133.849 seconds at an average 108.875 mph. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver is ahead of his brother by just over a quarter of a second.

Austin Cindric, who drives Team Penske’s fourth car in a few races this season, takes third place. Ryan Blaney and Tyler Reddick round out the top 5.

Denny Hamlin, AJ Allmendinger, Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson and Chase Briscoe enter the top 10.

Nineteenth, Martin Truex Jr. is the driver who rolled the most during this session with fifteen laps covered.

Due to the size of the track, more than four miles of development, no driver has completed a series of ten consecutive laps.

Qualifying will take place this Sunday just a few hours before the race.
