In a burial mound near the Dnieper, archaeologists have discovered eight burials 4 thousand years old.
They talked about this in the video, published on the Facebook page of the Dnieper archaeological expedition.
Among the remains were found belonging to a small child and an elderly man. Valuables were not found next to them, but a vessel with an ornament was found next to the remains of an elderly man.
To create the mound itself, as noted by archaeologists, it took a lot of effort. According to the head of the archaeological group Dmitry Teslenko, although there were no valuable things in the burials, respect for the deceased was manifested by the amount of labor that ancient people spent to create this burial.
The mound itself consists of an entrance pit and separate chambers. Burials belong to the catacomb culture. Archaeologists already know where about seven more graves are located.
As Apostrophe reported, previously a man strolling along the north coast of Guernsey in the UK, accidentally stumbled upon prehistoric human remains.
