The two thieves were motivated enough to travel around two hours between the Paris region and the small town of Bosgouetin L’Your, Monday, March 28, 2022. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day, they robbed a house whose owners were absent. The loot is juicy: €100,000 loss taking into account wine and jewelry, but above all the Mercedes AMG with which individuals return.
But the gendarmes of Pont-Audemer, in particular the brigade of Routot and the investigators of Pont-Audemer, will not give them much respite. “During the investigations carried out by the investigators, the DNA traces revealed two profiles known to the services”, relates Captain André Guidoux of the gendarmerie company.
Geolocated car
Two days after the burglary, the soldiers noticed, thanks to the positioning system of the Mercedes, that it was located Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis). They go there to find her precisely. The vehicle is recovered.
However, the car was not with the thieves. Investigations are still necessary before the arrest, Wednesday April 13 by the gendarmes of Pont-Audemer, of a 42-year-old resident of Sevran living not far from the place where the Mercedes was parked.
Two years in prison
Passed in immediate appearance Thursday, April 14, the man already known to the police and the gendarmerie was sentenced to two years in prison without reprieve. The prosecutor asked for three.
