The Bundestag rejects the compulsory vaccine from the age of 60 in Germany | Society

The Bundestag (lower house of the German Parliament) today rejected the proposal presented by several deputies of the government coalition between Social Democrats, Greens and Liberals to introduce the mandatory vaccine against covid-19 from the age of 60.

The proposal, supported among others by the Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and the Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbach, was discarded with 296 votes in favor, 378 against and nine abstentions.
