The bullfighting celebrations return to the city of Burgos in an exceptional fair that coincides with the festival of Saint Peter and Saint Paul with a reduced capacity of 4,000 people that has meant an effort on the part of the company Taurus emotion so that there are not two years in a row without bulls in the city.
In total there are four scheduled festivities, two of them bullfights, a bullfight and the national clipper contest. The fair will begin with the presence of the 16 best trimmers among which the Burgos stand out Juan Pablo “The Aguilucho”.
The commitment to quality celebrations is reflected in the presence of the current best rejoneador on the international scene Diego Ventura with Riu Fernandes and Leonardo for Saturday 26, a hand in hand with bulls of Victorino Martin Come in Morenito de Aranda and Rubén Pinar and the star dish of the fair with Enrique Ponce, Emilio de Justo and Roca Rey for the day of San Pedro.
De la Viuda, general director of Tauroemoción Zona Centro, has wanted to value the effort so that the prices of the Burgos bullring continue to be the cheapest in second-category places. The price of tickets will be € 25, 10% more expensive than in 2019 and there will be discounts for subscribers and a special price for clubs.
From this Thursday, June 10, preferential season tickets for old subscribers will be on sale until June 12. The period for new subscriptions will be June 13 and 14. And the sale of single tickets from June 15.
Together with the bullfighting festivities, other promotional events will be held, such as the presentation of the journalist’s book Alfonso Santiago in tribute to the 40th anniversary of the El Yiyo alternative in the Plantío and the presentation of the hand in hand between Morenito de Aranda and Rubén Pinar in the capital of La Ribera.
