The attacker wrote an official letter to the Office of Citizens’ Appeals, in which he announced the mining of the building and demanded a ransom.
The Kiev City Council received a message about the mining of the building from a certain Edgar Kazaryan, who demands a ransom in the amount of 0.5 bitcoin. This was announced on Tuesday, July 6, by the Deputy Mayor – Secretary of the Kiev City Council Volodymyr Bondarenko on the page in Facebook.
“Another message has been received about the mining of the building of the Kiev City Council. Now – with the demand for a ransom of 0.5 bitcoin,” he wrote.
The official noted that a decision was made to partially evacuate workers and civilians from the building.
“I am sure that this story has been invented again. However, the life and health of people remains a priority,” Bondarenko wrote.
According to media reports, the bitcoin rate is 938 326 UAH.
Recall, the day before the railway station was “mined” in Kiev… Passengers boarding is carried out through the passages adjacent to the central building.
By the way, a couple of years ago the police arrested one “miner” of the Kyiv City State Administration… They managed to establish and detain him in hot pursuit.
