The Buenos Aires Government warned that from the “Buenos Aires Vacunate” program against the coronavirus, no telephone calls are made to the inhabitants, nor are messages sent in relation to obtaining personal data and recommended that to avoid scams people do not provide their data to communications not verified as an official account, nor do they access links shared by unknown senders on social networks.

The Interactive System of the Province of Buenos Aires (+ 54 9 221 429-4002) only provides information related to shifts already assigned, not being necessary to access any link for the confirmation, rejection or rescheduling of the shift, added the Government.

Official sources reported that until now the authorities have been made aware of attempts to obtain personal data by the lines +54 9 11 3065-7914, +54 9 11 6592-5314, + 54 9 11 5604-5939.

In this sense, authorities of the province formulated the respective criminal complaints before the prosecutor’s office in turn.

In view of this, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health recommends staying informed through official channels, not providing personal data in the event of calls or messages and formulating the pertinent complaints in case of irregularities so that the judicial authorities can advance in the necessary computer skills and thus can prevent possible fraud attempts.
