Steve Mandanda’s little brother will join Saint-Priest
After the departure of the historic Yannick Martin, who has remained in the cages of AS Saint-Priest for 28 seasons since his youth, the club is looking for a goalkeeper and has found its rare pearl, whose name is that of a very large family of goalkeepers: Over Mandanda, left free by Bordeaux and loaned to Laval, will join after a successful trial.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper is none other than the younger brother of Riffi, who plays today in Norway after having notably worn the Boulogne (National) jersey, and of course Steve Mandanda, the historic last bulwark of OM and of the France team which will participate in the next Euro with the Blues.
Three other players have already joined the ASSP this summer, forwards Kenny Herbin (ex-Toulon) and Thomas Oualembo (ex-Etoile Fréjus Saint-Raphaël), as well as defender Habib Gueye (ex-Hyères).
