According to new estimates by the Ministry of Finance, public finances will end up in a deficit of 7.7 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) this year. This follows from a new forecast published by the Ministry of Finance (MF) on Tuesday. According to the Ministry of Finance, the total public debt should rise from last year’s 37.8 percent of GDP to this year’s 43.5 percent of GDP. As for GDP itself, the office expects growth of 3.2 percent this year.
