The police are arresting and investigating the parents after a trace of child abuse was found on the body of a two-week-old child who died.
The Jeonbuk Police Agency announced on the 11th that the parents of the deceased child A (24) and B (22, female) were urgently arrested on charges of child abuse and fatality.
They are accused of abusing their children at the officetel where they lived in Iksan City and killing them. Mr. A and others called 119 on the night of the 9th when the child was unconscious. The child, who was transferred to the hospital with cardiac arrest, died.
The police explained that the child’s face and head were found to have bruises suspected of child abuse. It was reported that the parents found out in the police investigation that “the child fell out of bed” and eventually admitted the charges.
The police are investigating the case against Mr. A.
