QUERÉTARO, Mexico.- It was not the best afternoon for Rayados de Monterrey, who lost 1-0 to Querétaro at the Corregidora Stadium, but a move by Javier Aguirre was enough to create a historic event in Mexican soccer.-
The reason?
The “Basque”Decided to give 20-year-old defender Alan Montes a chance, who shared the pitch with his brother Cesar Montes.
It is the first time that César and Alan play together in the First Division of Mexican soccer and the most curious thing is that both players are registered as defenders against Liga MX.
Alan debuted in 2020 with Necaxa in the highest Aztec football circuit, also in a match against Gallos Blancos.
In the current season, Alan Montes had only played with the Rayados affiliate in the Expansion League, until he filled the pupil with “Basque”Aguirre, who on this occasion decided to consider him in the first team together with his brother César.
Unfortunately for both of them, there was no luck and Rayados linked his third disaster to the thread in the Apertura 2021 tournament.
