The Municipal Sports Board collaborates with the Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo de la Buena Muerte in the organization of the third edition of the Race-March of the religious congregation, which will be held on Sunday March 12 for the benefit of the Spanish Association of Cancer of Metastatic breast. The test, which includes a run of approximately five kilometers and a walk, will take place in the old town and is open to the general public with no age limit. The older sister of the brotherhood, Raquel Hernández, explained in the presentation “that one of our main purposes is charity and about three years ago we innovated with the celebration of this race.”
“The fate of this year’s profits seems very interesting to us. On the one hand because of what the Metastatic Breast Cancer Association is and, on the other, because the intention is to allocate all the money raised to research and the search for treatment for this pathology” he added. Along the same lines, one of the members of the group, Ana Lara, has spoken, who has assured that “one of the main objectives we have is to obtain funds for research since not enough money is allocated, not even remotely, to investigate it ”.

The first three classified in the general classification, both in men and women, will take oil and a trophy. The organization has also stipulated prizes for the disabled male and female, child and youth categories.
