The Ministry of Health intends to introduce a new link in the drug distribution process: the broker, a qualified intermediary capable of simplifying relations between manufacturers and distributors, can set prices or certain distribution conditions.

“Just like a real estate agent, like another type of broker, connects the different manufacturers, distributors, sets prices, negotiates and is the person who does not see the goods in any way, only establishes certain conditions of distribution,” he says. Alin Ţucmeanu.
The issue of introducing this link in the distribution chain was discussed today together with representatives of pharmaceutical distributors and retailers in Romania.
They also asked the authorities to find solutions to the problem of supplying drugs to units that do not have specially set up warehouses in their facilities, such as imaging or dialysis centers.
