ANNOUNCEMENTS

Britain’s King Charles gives his first Christmas speech at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, where the former Queen Elizabeth is buried. In the speech he will pay tribute to his mother, she said BBC. The British royal family shared a photo from the taping with the press.

The talk will be broadcast on UK television at 3.00pm (local time) on Christmas Day. Elizabeth, who passed away last September at the age of 96, has given the speech every year since 1957.

The speech had already been recorded on December 13th. The photo shows King Charles standing in front of a Christmas tree. The Queen usually recorded the speech while she sat surrounded by photographs of her family.
