This time, the royal palace postponed the date mainly in order to get on the list the people who were involved in the fight against the epidemic.
Doctors, nurses, carers, volunteers, but also employees of delivery services or charities eventually make up more than a tenth of the winners, a total of 414 of them.
The title of member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) will be given to Glasgow restaurant owner David Maguire, who sent food to paramedics for free, or Jay Flynn, who entertained people locked up at home with his online quizzes. Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, who has led a successful campaign for the government to provide free school meals to schoolchildren from poor families during the summer, has the same title.
The title of knight was won by the representative of the detective Hercule Poirot, David Suchet, and the singer, Tommy Steele. Mary Berryová, a juror for the culinary competition The Great British Bake Off, which is similar to the Peče whole Czechia competition, won the title of lady, as did actress Maureen Lipmanová.
