The British government is being resigned by Frost, the Minister for Brexite

According to the British media, Frost does not agree with several policies of the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, including the tightening of the Covid-19 crisis and the increase of spending on tax and environmental policy.

In a letter to Johnson, Frost said he was concerned “about the current direction” of the pandemic restrictions and tax increases.

Johnson has already been hit by a riot by 100 lawmakers in the vote on the Covid-19 crisis and the loss of by-elections in North Shropshire.

With this loss, talk of the possibility of replacing Johnson as leader has become more active among conservatives.

Frost is currently the second most popular minister on the influential ConservativeHome blog.

The newspaper “Mail on Sunday” reports that Frost resigned a week ago, but he is sure to remain in office until the new year.

In response to the resignation, Johnson expressed his disappointment to Frost, “given all that you have accomplished and what your contribution has been to this government.”

According to Angel Reiner, the deputy leader of the opposition Labor, the resignation is proof that “the government is in total chaos at a time when the country is facing several uncertain weeks.”

“Boris Johnson is not suitable for this job. We need something better than this buffet,” Reiner said on Twitter.

Conservative legislature Andrew Bridgen warned that Johnson “is running out of time and running out of friends to deliver on the promises of a truly conservative government and ensure discipline.”

Arlin Foster, who has resigned as Northern Ireland’s first minister, also predicted that Frost’s resignation would have serious consequences.

Frost was involved in the negotiations on the so-called Northern Ireland Protocol, which governs trade between Britain, Northern Ireland and the European Union. He also objected to the EU court in Luxembourg having the power to rule on its implementation.
