The bridge to Evanger in Voss is closed

– The flood on Voss has serious consequences. In the worst-case scenario, we could exceed the level of the 2014 floods, the municipality’s chief of staff for citizens’ services, Tor Halvorsen, wrote in a news release on Friday evening.

* Langabrua is closed

* Evanger bridge (E16 to Evanger center) is closed

* The local road Petter Bondes vei (after the Voss hostel) is closed

* Power went out in the Fredheim Housing Association and Voss Hostel.

Council encourages everyone to protect their valuables exposed to flooding and to keep abreast of the situation via Varsom.no.

Odda, Voss, Flåm and Lærdal were hit hard by a 200-year flood in 2014, which caused severe destruction and took several houses and infrastructure with it.
