AGI – Tragedy touched on this morning Rome on via Laurentina where it is part of the bridge collapsed, in wood, of the cycle path without causing, fortunately, injuries. It happened on the cycle path of via Laurentina, at the junction for Rome-Fiumicino.

The accident was caused by a truck with a crane arm that hit the wooden structure causing it to fall. Above the bridge, where only pedestrians and cyclists pass, no one was to be found at the time of the collapse. The Carabinieri intervened on the spot and blocked the area by blocking the circulation of cars. A fire brigade inspection is currently underway.
