The breweries may run out of cans this summer

Both Coca-Cola Norway, Ringnes and Hansa Borg notice the shortcoming, according to E24.

The energy drink Monster from Coca-Cola has been sold out in some stores due to the lack of boxes, and Ringnes believes some of their product lines may be sold out this summer. Hansa Borg thinks the summer is going well, but states that the shortage requires that they plan well.

– We work continuously to solve these challenges, says Hynne.

Ringnes also notices the box shortage this summer. Communications manager Nicolay Bruusgaard does not fear that entire stores will be empty, but thinks it may be empty for some boxes.

– Some product lines may be sold out, and we must probably expect to make some priorities in periods, he says.

Only three companies supply aluminum cans in Europe, and most manufacturers and breweries buy from just these.

Hansa Borg manages, but the lack requires them to plan well through the summer.

– As we see it, there is no reason to panic, says head of communication and sustainability at Hansa Borg breweries, Stina Kildedal-Johannessen.
