“The boycott of the Angoulême Comic Strip Festival is perhaps our last cartridge”

Unraveling the dramatic situation of comic book authors is more urgent than ever. This is what the Autrices Auteurs en action (AAA) collective says, an informal group formed in 2020 during the Angoulême International Comics Festival. In his new platform, he calls for a boycott of the Comic Strip Festival in June “if no real and concrete act is taken by then”.
