Life in the UK is now expensive and not every citizen can afford it. Thus, the 36-year-old Briton Chris Marsh solved the problem of high rents and huge utility bills in his own way.
He built himself a small ecological house on wheels. Maintaining a 16 square meter house is quite affordable for Chris, and this house has everything a person needs for a comfortable life.
Before moving into his miraculous home, Chris Marsh worked for a building company and rented a small house in Northumberland for £650 a month, with an extra £260 to pay bills and taxes.
“I came across these tiny houses on an American construction site and decided to try and build one myself. I have lived there long enough and will never move to urban housing again. Chris said.
He set up his two-story house on a small piece of land that he had previously purchased for €110,000. It took him 11 weeks to build it. And now the man pays only 15 euros a month for the house.
Chris uses rainwater, it enters his house through a special rainwater harvesting system.
Demand for such houses is quite large and Chris Marsh’s company sold 30 of these mini-houses last year, costing €50,000 each. According to Chris, such a house will withstand all weather conditions and is easy to tow by car to the right place.
