The Nordic countries are considered the world’s best neighbors. But when the corona came, each country chose its own measures. Swedish authorities, for example, were taken by surprise when Norway closed the border and deployed soldiers to guard it.
Last summer, the Swedish Minister of Trade, Anna Hallberg, said that she feared a crisis in Nordic co-operation.
