A work by a student at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, deemed racist, put the school administration in the crossfire of criticism. On the one hand, an anonymous collective denounces “the structural racism which continues to develop there”. On the other hand, and after the removal of the work from social networks, the Observatory for the Freedom of Creation “stands up against this censorship and against this demand for censorship”. The director of the school, Dominique Pasqualini, evokes “narcissistic issues” while the student is surprised not to have been invited to explain himself. The latter ensures that his approach aims on the contrary to fight against racism.
