According to Oleg Smirnov, the head of the company’s sales department, companies are currently being actively sought in Lithuania that want to join Bookla.
Bookla monitors the flow of people indoors with an online booking feature, as well as storing a history of all visitors, which can be used to identify Covid-19 infected contacts if needed. The app also provides contactless payments and ticket verification with a QR code reading function.

With the help of the app, each customer is given a specific time to visit the store, providing the necessary breaks between visitors to prevent crowding. Throughout the visit, following the security and epidemiological measures, the client is accompanied by a shopping consultant. The history of each client’s visit is stored in a single system.
“Most shopping malls are open and open, but most stores are restricted and closed due to a lack of a proper solution to manage the flow of customers to them. The application is offered in four languages - Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian and English. It has a search function for the company or service of interest with filtering of distance, price and other parameters. Bookla displays a description of each company and service, location, photo gallery, contact information and booking calendar with an automatic reminder function. The customer can also add a public review to a specific service in the app.
