Messukeskus announces that the Helsinki Book Fair and the Wine & Food Fair set an all-time visitor record this year.
Almost 98,000 visitors visited the fair during the four days. The fair started on Thursday of this week and ended today, Sunday.
The number increased by 11 percent from last year’s number of visitors.
The previous record for the Helsinki Book Fair was from 2019. At that time, there were 6,000 fewer visitors than this year.
According to Messukeskus, the Helsinki Book Fair is the largest literary event in the Nordic countries in terms of visitors. According to Messukeskus, the book fair was organized for the 24th time at Helsinki Messukeskus.
