The long-awaited Book and Record Fair returns to Eibar this Friday, with thirteen stands dedicated to literature and culture. The event will run until November 17 in Unzaga Square, and will maintain the objective of promoting reading among the public of all ages. Visitors will be able to find editorial news in Basque and Spanish covering a wide variety of genres and topics.
The stands will be open from Monday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Among the participants is the municipal stand, which will have the presence of the Eibar writer Araceli Bono. The author will present her two recently published works of poetry: between my heelswhich can be purchased for 12 euros, and autumn confessions, available for 14 euros. These works will undoubtedly be one of the attractions of the Fair.
In the words of the mayor, Jon Iraola, “reading is more than just passing time; It is a way to enrich our lives, to expand our minds, and to travel to distant places without leaving where we are.”
The surrounding publishers and bookstores will also be present to publicize their publications: Erein, Jakinbide, El Mundo de los minilibros, Kale Book, Artia, Arbola, Haritza, Bipiliki and Iñaki.
In addition, at the fair you can see the exhibition “Itsasoa” and “Literatura eta kantuetan”.
