Also noteworthy is a one-off contribution of up to 500 euros for newsagents, a tax credit equal to 30% of the expenditure incurred in 2020 for the acquisition of server, hosting and broadband services for digital newspapers and the extension of six months – from 31 December 2020 to 30 June 2021 – for the assignments of primary information services.
150 million fund for bookstores and museums
The hypotheses also include an “Emergency fund for companies and cultural institutions”, with a budget of 150 million euros, to support bookstores, the entire publishing chain, museums and places of culture. The Fund would also be intended “for the relief of losses deriving from the cancellation, following the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19, of shows, fairs, congresses and exhibitions”.
280 million for the show
Finally, there is the increase from 80 to 230 million of the current portion of the fund for emergencies dedicated to the entertainment, cinema and audiovisual sectors, established in the state of forecast of the ministry of cultural heritage and tourism and then that of account capital, so as to bring overall resources for the sector to a figure of 280 million euros.
