Santos Choque, actor and college university student, acquired the award for “Greatest Supporting Actor” at the 12th version of the Beijing Worldwide Movie Festival. His participation in the Bolivian film “Utama” gave him this intercontinental recognition.

The movie, directed by Alejandro Loayza, tells the story of an elderly couple who hardly survive in the arid highlands hit by drought. The grandparents witness the return of their grandson Intelligent, played by Choque, 26, who intends to persuade them to leave their lands impacted by local weather improve.
“The Bolivian altiplano, photographed in complete magnificence throughout the film, is a reflection of a globe ravaged by climate improve and a dying lifestyle …”reads the description of a movie trailer discovered on YouTube.
“Utama” has already been the winner of quite a few awards at global activities in Sundace (United States), Malaga (Spain), Transylvania (Romania) and Guadalajara (Mexico), amongst other individuals. Final July, Alejandro Loayza introduced that the film would be unveiled in Bolivia in September 2022.
