Police said the search was complicated by the fact that there were a lot of algae in the lake that hid the place where her body was.

Ayub noted that it is still difficult to judge what exactly happened during the walk, and he can only speculate.

According to the sheriff, in the afternoon, underwater currents often begin on the lake, which could carry the boat from the actress and her son. As Ayub said, Rivera may have somehow managed to get her child back on the boat, but she might not have the strength to save herself.
