The police are still continuing to investigate the case death of a family Kalideres, West Jakarta, which was found to be “dry”. The latest investigations confirm that the condition of Reni Margaretha (68 years old), subjected to mummification, appears to be well maintained.
“At TKP, Dian’s location was in the room with her mother’s body which was already mummified, it looked well maintained,” Dirkrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi said when contacted on Saturday (11/26/2022).
Hengki Haryadi revealed that the bedding where his mother’s body was found was in immaculate condition.
“That means the bedding is in order, the mattress is in order. There is a cloth under her mother’s body,” Hengki said.
Meanwhile, the body of the little girl, Dian (42), was found next to her mother’s body. The condition of the room where the two were found was locked from the inside.
“Dian’s body was next to him hugging a pillow, and the room was locked from the inside,” she said.
When asked if it was possible for Dian to care for her mother’s body until the end of her life, Hengki Haryadi reluctant to speculate. She said his group was still digging into this finding with a team of forensic experts.
“Later the forensic psychologist will conclude. However, our investigation is deductive, Dian is very close to her mother,” added Hengki Haryadi.
The cause of death is still under investigation
The investigation into the death of a family who died ‘dry’ in Kalideres, West Jakarta was earlier reported to have been going on for two weeks. Police have yet to establish the victim’s motive and cause of death.
Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Criminal Investigation Unit director Hengki Haryadi said the investigation into the death the Kalideres family still walking. Polda Metro Jaya investigators have collaborated with a number of experts to find out the motives and causes of the Kalideres family’s death.
“Together, we stand as we said yesterday regarding the motive and cause of death, which are still being investigated till now. Because this takes time,” Hengki Haryadi told Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta on Thursday (24 /11).
