Rescuers transported the body of an unknown man from the mountain to the village of Bogdan. His identity is being established.
In the Transcarpathian region, the body of a deceased man was found in the area of Mount Pop-Ivan. About it informs regional office of the State Emergencies Service on Wednesday, May 5.
It is indicated that as early as May 3 at 13:10, the rescuers received a message that during the passage of the tourist route in the area of the Pop-Ivan mountain, Rakhiv district, a group of tourists found a male body. The identity of the deceased is now being established.
The day before, at 23:00, the body of a man from the mountain was transported to the village of Bogdan. To transport the deceased, 12 rescuers and three units of equipment from mountain search and rescue departments from the village of Kvasy and the city of Rakhiv were involved.
Recall, April 27 in the Carpathians rescuers found the body of a tourist, missing back in February. The search was resumed when the snow melted. The body was in a gorge near a stream at the foot of Mount Zhid-Magura.
