The body of a woman on the beach in Łeba. There is an investigation

A walker found the body of a middle-aged woman on the beach in Łeba in the morning. The District Prosecutor’s Office in Lębork initiated an investigation into the manslaughter, informed the deputy district prosecutor Dorota Frączek.

Prosecutor Frączek said that during the preliminary examination at the site where the body was revealed no external injuries were found indicating the involvement of third parties. Preliminary findings do not indicate a homicide – she said.

She also noted that the prosecutor’s office was waiting for the results of the autopsy. It will take place in the coming days.

The investigation is aimed at manslaughter.

The identity of the deceased was initially established, but steps are still being taken to unequivocally confirm whether it is really that person – said the prosecutor Frączek.

No documents were found on the body. It is planned to show the body to a person who will be able to clearly confirm the identity of the deceased.
