A climber from Odessa, Yana Krivosheya, who had been looking for a long time in the mountains of Antalya, was found dead near Mount Geiksivrisi. On Friday, May 28, reports this on his page in Facebook Ukrainian portal of Turkey.

According to the preliminary version, the girl died falling off a cliff.

“For several weeks, Yana was searched for by different teams of rescuers, both local and Ukrainian. However, the body was found only on May 28 during aerial photography by a gendarmerie reconnaissance aircraft,” the message says.

It is reported that the body of the deceased climber was removed from the rocks by a gendarmerie search and rescue team. He was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the exact cause of death.

It is known that the last time Yana’s phone was online was on May 4 in the area of ​​the city of Manavgat. While searching for the girl, in the mountains in the Antalya region, rescuers managed to find Yana’s tent: some of her things were in place, but two backpacks were missing.

Local authorities launched a search and rescue operation in the city of Manavgat itself, since the security forces considered the version that the Ukrainian climber Yana Krivosheya could have disappeared not in the mountains, but in the village.
