The Deputy Minister of Health and Consumption of the Junta de Andalucía, Miguel Ángel Guzmán, assured that the systematic influenza vaccination of all children between six and 59 months, i.e. up to four years and eleven months, is a novelty in the vaccination campaign, “it will be an important goal” and “we will realize it”.
He underlined this after being questioned by journalists, recalling that children in this age group “are the age group with the highest incidence in the event of a flu epidemic and, moreover, they are the main vectors, those that carry the virus. to the family, and therefore to the most vulnerable people, their elders, especially grandparents ”.
“This year it was decided to do so and I believe it will be an important milestone, and that we will realize it”, concluded the Deputy Minister of Health and Consumers.
This Friday Guzmán, together with the territorial delegate of Health and Consumption in Malaga, Carlos Bautista; the managing director of the 061 Health Emergency Center, Fernando Ayuso, and the provincial director of 061 in Malaga, Alejandro Salazar, participated in the mass training sessions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, called # cardiomaraton061.
