The board of the Central Party’s Youth Council presented candidates for the board of the party

At the meeting of the board of the Central Party Youth Council, it was decided to present nine candidates for board members to the extraordinary congress in Paide.

The board of the Central Party Youth Council decided to nominate Marika Tuus-Laul, Andrei Korobeinik, Lauri Laats, Anneli Oti, Vladimir Sveti, Mihkel Undrest, Yana Toom, Jaan Toots and Vadim Belobrovtsev as candidates for board members. Kalle Klandorf was nominated for the chairman of the court of honor.

The board of the Youth Council and the council have previously decided to support Mihhail Kõlvart as the next chairman of the party.

“We are convinced that for Mihhail Kõlvart and the board member candidates who support him, young people are the future of the party, and they take young people into account, actively involving young people in the work of the party. Everything starts with a well-functioning cooperation, that’s the only way to take the party to a new level,” said Valentina Bortnovski, the chairman of the Youth Council.

Central Youth General Secretary Kristi Rüütel said that the political party needs a board that will bravely stand up to intolerance, discrimination and injustice and that is a true advocate of values.

“I believe that under the leadership of Mihhail Kõvarti, the party will be able to start working unanimously after the congress,” said Rüütel.

The extraordinary congress of the Center Party will be held on September 10 in the E-Piima sports hall in Paide. The chairman of the party, members of the board of the party, members of the revision committee and the chairman of the court of honor are elected. More than a thousand delegates are expected in Paide.
