The National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) has provided assistance to Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, to help the district recover from flooding that occurred in the first week of April. The assistance included Rp250 million in ready-to-use funds and command posts, as well as logistics assistance and equipment needed during the emergency response and recovery period, such as two thousand mattresses, two thousand blankets, and five generator units. The Bima District Head expressed gratitude for the assistance and said it would be used optimally to handle floods in affected sub-districts. The aid will be coordinated with relevant regional apparatus to distribute to affected communities as soon as possible.
