“On the one hand, the auditor’s report will in all probability establish what the prosecutor’s office needs to prove its loudly circulated theses, and on the other hand, it will give sufficient “grounds” to the BNB to take the sacral decision for the final liquidation of the bank” , the financier said.
He is categorical that “in any case, this will be a politically motivated report based on the “fact” that the main part of the files is “missing”.
“I am convinced that the reason for this “missing” is not negligence or intentionality of the bank employees responsible for it, but is rooted in the coordinated vandalism of the liquidators of KTB when it was placed under special supervision. In the “legal” office serving the investigation and the prosecution, there are undoubtedly copies of all credit files and schemes with interconnections, meticulously provided by the helpful Kosharev witnesses. The purpose, as I have already repeatedly noted, is one – to prepare the acquisition of worthlessness of all that is of interest to the liquidators.” Vassilev said.
He recalled that by law the conservators temporarily perform the functions of representatives of the bank placed under special supervision until the necessary decision is taken by the Central Bank. Such a decision should normally go through consultations and a proposal to the shareholders, in case there are properly established capital requirements.
If the “remedial measures” taken by the conservators consist in turning the latter into an outsourced unit of the investigation and prosecution, yes – the bank is “healthier” than ever. Their “healing” contribution to the bank is revealed in all possible ways, Vassilev believes.
According to him, in addition to the absurdity of not allowing repayment of loans against available funds in the same bank, the conservators obligingly failed to support the efforts of the suspended management, which began even before the attack on the bank, to protect the interests of KTB, among others , and in the following two important cases: 1. At the extraordinary general meeting of “Bulgartabac Holding” called at the request of the minority shareholders against the policy of its management and the majority shareholder, neglecting their interests; 2. To protect the interests of KTB as a creditor of one of the shareholders in the Yuri Gagarin factory.
Vassilev is adamant that the farce that is unfolding in front of all of us is so ridiculous and absurd that it is hard to believe that it is really happening. “It is a pity, above all, the confidence of the screenwriters that thinking people will believe that there is no coordination in their actions against me, my family and the bank at all; that the BNB somehow accidentally learns from “media publications” about investigations into money laundering and other crimes against me; that the investigations are launched completely independently of each other, etc. How casual, how innocent, how convenient,” adds the majority owner of KTB.
He also commented on the Liechtenstein investigation against him. “As for the specific “investigation”, it will soon become clear that this is yet another technological marriage of the center for financial engineering in the face of the Bulgarian investigation and prosecutor’s office, which are obviously making desperate attempts to internationalize their activities,” Vassilev also states.
