On the way with this off-road limousine worth 134,715 euros, the program “Tavs Auto TV” of the studio “RJ76 Films” went with a person who during his life was a few steps away from the top of the tennis Olympus – that is, he got to the first of the world tennis professionals (or ATP) in the top ten. Ernests Gulbis has been associated with tennis since early childhood, but last fall he was elected as the president of the Latvian Tennis Union and is currently taking a break from active tennis activities and training.

“BMW X7”, despite its impressive dimensions (its length reaches 5181 mm), is a completely sporty vehicle. In the basic version (in the “xDrive 40i” version), it is equipped with a “TwinPower Turbo” six-cylinder gasoline engine capable of developing 381 hp and a sports car-worthy 540 Nm of torque.

This 2.5-ton behemoth can reach 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds – and if that’s still not enough, you can choose the M60i version with a 530 hp V8, which will take just 4.7 seconds , to reach the “hundred”. On the other hand, for economical driving, the offer also includes the improved six-cylinder diesel engine with a power of 352 hp, which, according to the manufacturer’s data, will consume an average of 7.7 liters of diesel per 100 km.

Today, car manufacturers are finding it harder and harder to impress their customers every day. Various car driving assistants, multimedia systems, 360-degree cameras and other “gadgets” in the era we live in are self-evident even in budget class cars. And, as you can guess, there is no shortage of them here either. “BMW X7” instrument panel is made of two curved displays: the smallest is 12.3 inches and the largest is 14.9 inches. There is a natural wood finish and leather-covered panels.

The legendary BMW comfort seats for the front occupants are standard equipment. If the customer wishes, they can also be provided for those sitting in the back. In addition, the manufacturer offers to choose a personalized two-tone leather interior.

Of course, there is no arguing about taste, but BMW’s huge new design radiator grille is still one of the most popular topics of discussion among car enthusiasts. Anyway, the nose of the X7 looks really impressive with the new design language “double-decker” headlights.
