“Everything we work on in Kith must come from a unique place,” says brand founder Ronnie Fieg. “Some of my favorite memories from my adolescence in the 1980s are related to my grandfather’s visits and riding in his BMW. I remember that he had a 320i generation E21 and that his biggest favorite was the BMW M3 E30. These moments of my life really started my passion for BMW cars, so working on this project concludes the whole story nicely. ”

Right next to the original BMW M3, which Fieg recently bought, is the only example of the new M4 Competition x Kith. It has the same red Cinnabar varnish, which is no longer available as standard.
–
For sale in the edition, however, is a design with matte black, silver or white body paint. On the roof, you will optionally find a large Kith sign, which is styled in the graphics of the Motorsport department and woven into a carbon fiber construction.

Inside, in addition to a few features of the special edition, the seats dressed in the tricolor M stand out. The central armrest is also special.
–
Technically, the special edition is identical to the BMW M4 Competition. The new in-line six-cylinder achieves 375 kW, 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque. An eight-speed transmission is standard. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 3.9 seconds. In addition to the classic rear-wheel drive, the edition – as well as the default model – can be optionally ordered with all-wheel drive.
–
The edition will be available for an unspecified price from the summer of 2021.
