The long-awaited hot hatchback from Munich has finally presented itself to the world. And shortly after that, we already know the Czech price, or a jump from the sister sedan.

We can’t wait to test the long-awaited “EM” station wagon in the editorial test. For now, we can shorten the wait by looking at the prices… well, actually the prices. BMW for model M3 Touring has not yet published a complete price list, the website only boasted the price from.

The people of Munich calculated this at 2,579,200 CZK. At first glance, it may scare you that compared to the M3 sedan, the novelty is CZK 250,900 more expensive. But beware, the price of CZK 2,328,300 applies to the sedan for a weaker version of the turbocharged six-cylinder with an output of 353 kW and a combination with a manual transmission. The M3 Touring only has an eight-speed automatic transmission, xDrive all-wheel drive with M active differential, and it also only comes in the beefed-up Competition version with 375 kW (510 hp).
A comparable car in a “short” body costs CZK 2,554,500, and lo and behold, suddenly the surcharge for a larger trunk is only CZK 24,700. It is a negligible amount for the total price of the car. However, it can be quite easily increased with additional additional items, if necessary original M Performance partswhich BMW has already managed to boast about.

Let’s just remind you that the BMW M3 Touring can hold 500 to 1510 liters of luggage and the rear bench is split in a ratio of 40:20:40. And yes, even here, only the window of the fifth door can be opened. But the station wagon does not let itself be put to shame even in terms of dynamics. The six-cylinder accelerates it to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and with the optional Driver’s package, it can reach 280 km/h. The station wagon can be ordered in September, production will start two months later.
