Chelsea busy shopping in the transfer market this summer. However, three of his new players could not appear in the Premier League premiere weekend.
Premier League 2020/2021 will roll out this weekend. Chelsea will start their steps with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion headquarters, Tuesday (9/15/2020) early morning WIB.

Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, and Thiago Silva cannot be played against Brighton. Frank Lampard said Ziyech and Chilwell were not fit, while Silva had not trained with Chelsea.
“Hakim Ziyech suffered a knee injury against Brighton (in a trial match) so he will not be fit. Hopefully only a few weeks, two weeks, but we have to monitor,” said Lampard in a pre-match press conference on Thursday (09/10/2020) , as reported Sky Sports.
“Ben Chilwell is working on fitness and getting better this week. He is going in the right direction, but will not be ready to fight Brighton.”
“Thiago is in London, but didn’t train with us until the weekend, so I doubt he can play in the match,” he said.
However, Chelsea got some good news with the return of Christian Pulisic and Cesar Azpilicueta. Both of them had suffered hamstring injuries in the FA Cup final against Arsenal.
“I am very happy they are back. They have been training since yesterday and can be deployed on Monday,” said Lampard.
“The way they train and the attitude they have looks like they have recovered from injury. We have to manage that,” he said.
