It is at the gymnasium Les Indes that blood donors are expected, this Wednesday March 17 and Thursday March 18, in Vitry-le-François; the Manège room, usually privileged, being occupied by the coronavirus vaccination center. “Our appeal is always a great outpouring of solidarity, even if a small drop in attendance was noted during the last meeting. We expect around 230 people every day ”, explains Claude Dollé, the president of the Association for the donation of blood.

The need for blood products is daily. In France, 10,000 donations per day are needed to treat the sick. “Thanks to the exceptional travel certificate, it is still possible to participate in the collection at the end of the day, despite the curfew”, continues Claude Dollé who, despite the current sanitary constraints, and with all the necessary precautions, still manages to offer a generous snack.
The volunteers will be, as always on the bridge, in order to reward the donors as they should.
