Yesterday, Friday, August 30, the Blood Bank of Extremadura performed extractions in Jaraíz de la Vera, between 6 and 10 pm, at the César Carlos I Educational Complex, with the collaboration of the Brotherhood of Blood Donors of the Virgen del Puerto Hospital in Plasencia and the City Council of Jaraíz de la Vera.
Fewer residents attended this second collection in 2024 than usual. In total, 85 bags were collected and 16 donors were rejected for various reasons.
Compared to the last call for proposals, there has been a significant decrease in the number of benefactors, unlike the previous one.
And as usual, volunteers from Jaraiceños from the Virgen del Puerto Brotherhood, Nieves Esteban, Francisco Picapiedra and Gregorio Jiménez, collaborated in yesterday’s extractions.
